Worked example
A path consists of a 9 m × 1.0 m rectangle plus a triangular widening with 2.4 m base and 1.5 m perpendicular height. Area is 9 + (2.4 × 1.5 ÷ 2) = 10.8 m². At 70 mm, volume is 0.756 m³.
