Privacy and Cookie Policy
This policy describes the deliberately limited data processing used for BulkMeasure’s non-commercial launch.
Publisher and contact
BulkMeasure is an independent calculator and reference website published under the Maple Web Group name. BulkMeasure does not operate a separate contact service. Website correspondence is handled through maplewebgroup.com. BulkMeasure collects no contact correspondence itself and publishes no separate email, telephone number, form or postal identity.
Calculator processing
Measurements, allowances, optional supplier densities, package capacities and costs are processed locally in the visitor’s browser. They are not deliberately retained by BulkMeasure, transmitted as analytics events or associated with an account.
Cloudflare hosting, delivery and security
Cloudflare provides DNS, hosting, content delivery and security. Like other internet infrastructure providers, Cloudflare may process request, device, network and security information under its applicable contractual and privacy terms. BulkMeasure keeps no separate copy of Cloudflare request or security logs.
Cloudflare Web Analytics
Cloudflare Web Analytics is enabled to provide aggregate page-view and performance information. According to Cloudflare’s current service description, its Web Analytics does not collect or use visitors’ personal data and does not use cookies, local storage or fingerprinting to collect usage metrics. Cloudflare controls retention under the applicable product configuration and contractual terms.
Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics 4
Optional Google Analytics 4 uses measurement ID G-N0V4GGYZX3 and is delivered only through Google Tag Manager container GTM-W3K4ZFNW. Neither loads until the visitor accepts analytics. Rejecting analytics prevents both from loading. Withdrawing consent updates analytics storage to denied and stops future optional analytics collection. No separate hard-coded GA4 installation is present.
Events, purposes and data minimisation
Permitted events cover calculator, guide and category views; completed calculations; validation categories; shape and unit families; whether an optional density was supplied; related-calculator selection; internal search; and selection of the Maple Web Group contact link. Events use non-sensitive categorical parameters to understand broad usage and improve tools. They exclude project measurements, names, email addresses, free text, supplier details, precise location and personal identifiers.
Consent, cookies and browser storage
Analytics storage is denied by default. Advertising storage, ad user data and ad personalisation remain denied. Accept and Reject have equal prominence, Manage Preferences controls analytics, and Privacy Settings in the footer reopens the choice. A first-party browser record stores the selected preference. Google may use cookies or browser storage only after analytics consent. Withdrawing consent updates the stored preference.
Retention and recipients
GA4 event-data retention is configured as a deployment requirement of 14 months and must be kept at that setting in the GA4 property. Recipients may include Google for consented GA4 and Tag Manager processing, and Cloudflare for hosting, security and Web Analytics. BulkMeasure keeps no separate Cloudflare log copy.
International processing
Google and Cloudflare may process data internationally under applicable provider terms. Depending on the processing and destination, relevant mechanisms may include adequacy regulations, the UK Addendum and standard contractual clauses. This statement does not guarantee a legal conclusion for every request.
Advertising technology
Google Ads, Google AdSense and all advertising tags are disabled. There is no advertising, affiliate marketing, sales processing, newsletter, account or saved-project feature.
Rights and correspondence
Rights depend on applicable law and the processing concerned. Privacy correspondence is routed through maplewebgroup.com. BulkMeasure does not collect that correspondence. Analytics consent can be withdrawn at any time through Privacy Settings.
Changes and effective date
This policy will be updated if analytics, advertising, affiliate marketing, sales or other processing changes. Effective date: 25 August 2026.
